Benetton HHWA is an Austrian bred and born, Four-year-old gelding that we imported from the Herman's in Karlsbad Germany in 2007.
He was imported as a stallion prospect and went directly to Tudor Oaks Farm in Barrington Hills, ILL. Unfortunately, when we went to breed Benetton in 2008, we discovered that he was infertile. After intensive study by on of the best fertility veterinarians in the U.S., it was determined that the best option for Benetton would be to have him gelded. Benetton is home at our farm in Stanwood, WA now and has progressed rapidly in his training. He is well started in the cart and under saddle. His aptitude for learning and for performance is rarely seen.
Benetton is a larger Haflinger at 14.2 hands and 1000 pounds. He is large enough for an average adult to ride and is gentle enough that with more miles put into his training, will also make a great child's mount. He is the perfect, all-around family horse.
